Voter Awareness Rally: Promoting Civic Responsibility in Solapur District
A Voter Awareness Rally was conducted on March 28, 2024, in Solapur District, resulting from a collaborative effort by the Solapur District Election Office, Worship Earth Foundation, Electoral Literacy Club, Solapur Dayanand College of Education, and Rotary Club of Pride Solapur. The rally was inaugurated by Dr. Prakash Mahanavar, Vice-Chancellor of Solapur University, who emphasized the importance of voting rights and active participation. The event was led by the NSS department head and Director of Solapur University, alongside additional election officers and representatives from Worship Earth Foundation.
The rally saw the presence of dignitaries from various educational institutions and Rotary Club members, highlighting the significance of civic engagement. Under the guidance of Dr. W.P. Ubale, Principal of Dayanand College, and Dr. S.B. Kshirsagar, Principal of Dayanand College of Education, the program witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff.

Our goal was to inspire and educate participants, encouraging them to become responsible and informed voters. The distribution of incentives to students excelling in awareness competitions further underscored our commitment to fostering a well-informed electorate.
