In 2022,
My River My Valentine took a bigger step under the initiative Swachha Pune, Swastha Pune. The campaign extended its reach across
12 major ghats of Pune, where citizens, youth groups, and organizations joined hands to clean and rejuvenate the riverbanks. The movement emphasized that river conservation is not just an environmental effort but also a social responsibility for healthier living.
This year, the initiative was carried out in collaboration with Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), National Federation of the Blind – Maharashtra (Pune Region), NSS Units of Various Colleges, Rotary Clubs of Pune, and multiple environmental & social organizations. Together, volunteers actively participated in waste collection, awareness drives, and community engagement activities, inspiring more people to adopt sustainable practices.
2022 marked a turning point where the initiative transformed into a large-scale citizen-driven campaign. With continuous efforts, the message of “Clean River, Healthy City” became a powerful call to action for Pune’s people.
