A heritage walk has been organized at Anandi Sansar Museum on May 26 at 9 AM. The event will feature Girish Krishnakant Potfode, the museum’s founder, sharing insights about the collection. This event is a collaboration between Worship Earth Foundation, Club Heritage, and the Department of History at Desai College, with Maharashtra Times as the media partner. Participants will have the unique opportunity to view a rare collection of copper, brass, and silver vessels from the medieval period, including artifacts such as typical forts, daily use utensils, and artistic pots.
The museum, located at Yashodatta Housing Society in Kasba Peth, showcases a variety of historical items including twelve Balutedars, masks of gods and goddesses, and other unique artifacts. Shri Chittaranjan Nizampurkar will provide additional information about the exhibits. Due to limited space, registration is required, and only five people will be allowed inside at a time after the first 100 registrants.
