Love Beyond Boundaries – My River My Valentine 2025

My River, My Valentine – A Movement for Mula-Mutha

The 2025 edition of My River My Valentine once again proved that Valentine’s Day is not just about celebrating relationships, but also about expressing love for our environment. Organized by Worship Earth Foundation in collaboration with Pune Municipal Corporation, Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), NSS, Savitribai Phule Pune University, schools, colleges, and Pune citizens, the event gathered over 5,000 volunteers at Bhide Bridge for a massive river-cleanliness drive.

With placards, slogans, and cultural performances, participants sent a strong message: “Save Rivers, Save Life.” The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Former Union Minister Rajkumar Singh, Dr. Parag Kalkar (Pro-Vice Chancellor, SPPU), DCP Sandeep Singh Gill, actor Pravin Tarde, interfaith leaders, and international environmentalists from Japan, Brazil, Russia, and Sri Lanka.

The highlight of the day was the collective pledge for river cleanliness and the presentation of the Mula-Mutha Award to Mr. Neelay Upadhyay for his exceptional contribution to environmental conservation. My River My Valentine 2025 became a true celebration of gratitude, unity, and sustainability—where love for rivers connected people across communities and borders.

Mission & Vision

My River My Valentine 2025 carried forward the vision of creating a clean, sustainable, and united society where citizens take pride in their rivers and natural resources. Our mission is to engage people across all age groups, communities, and even nations to recognize rivers as the true lifelines of cities. Through clean-up drives, awareness rallies, cultural performances, and international participation, we aim to build a movement that connects love with responsibility. The presence of schools, colleges, dignitaries, and environmentalists highlighted that protecting rivers is not just an environmental duty but a shared cultural and moral responsibility. We envision a future where rivers like Mula and Mutha flow clean and vibrant, reflecting the care, respect, and collective action of society.
